Hi, I am having an adjustment to my laser surgery, other than taking my normal vitamins place 1000 mg of vitamin C for healing, is there anything else that I can do to assist the pain threshold as I had quite alot on the last occassion.

Cheers

I have undergone Intralase Wavefront / ILasik (custom) surgery from from Grewal Eye Institute (India)on 1st September, 2011.
My number for distance was:
Right Eye SPHERE: -1.50D & CYLINDER: -2.50D ASIS-180 & for
Left Eye SPHERE: -0.50 & CYLINDER: -2.50D AXIS – 170.

I was suggested by Dr. that Intralase Wavefront / ILasik bladefree(custom) option was best suited for my eyes, so I opted for this package (though it was little out of budget for me). But after result of surgery shows that in comparison to right eye vision-ability of left eye is not fully perfect (6/6). On check-up visit I was able to read the last line (6/6) with dim/blurred vision only from my left eye.

As per that Dr. there remains some difference in both eyes after surgery. I wanna confirm whether it happens in other cases also; after lasik operation of eyes – does there remains any type of difference of more or less sharpness/clearity/ focus(font size) in any of eye in comparison to other? In my case my right eye appear to have more clarity in reading last line(6/6)in comparison to left which is little dim/blurred.

As per that Dr. there remains some difference in both eyes after surgery. Can I have your expert opinion that whether it happens in other cases also; if you can kindly explain the reason for less sharpness/clearity/ focus(font size) of left eye in comparison to right eye?

Moreover, as per advice of one another doctor (Dr. Grover) since my left eye was having low spherical in comparison to cylinder so it needed a +number offset. I do expect that it must have been done. Presently I'm using only GenTeal Gel; appointment was given for after 6 months period in March, 2011. Would it be nice to go for fine tunning of the residual no. left or no need?
